mountain biking!

A very close friend recently got me into mountain biking. Dan was a guy who weighed nearly 260 lbs, and within several months dropped to below 220 with just dieting and mountain biking. with me being 245lbs, my "plateau" is 220. No matter what regiment i went on, i could never get lower than 220. For a family's wedding i hit 225, and no matter how much i ran, worked out or stuck to my diet i could never drop below 220. Dan is my inspiration, and judge by these picts if this isnt inspiration!

This bike is the mighty steed that will help me on my way(if the mosquitos dont kill me first!)

It is a Specialized Hardrock with disc brakes, a Specialized seat, Rockshox2 front fork, Black Tenderizer pedals, carbon riser spacers, and Sunline waffle grips. I used to have a catseye bike computer, but a mishap involving 3 trees and 9mph saw to it i will never have it ever again.
Dan and I go out every Sunday morning, check back every Sunday for more updates, picts and possible videos.
I'm sure youre wondering what bike Dan rides... Its a Gary Fisher Marlin with a rockshox2 front fork and pearl white tenderizer pedals. next time ill get picts of his bike.
